About Chiropractic Health Care

Chiropractic health care is based on the premise that the human body has a natural restorative ability to maintain its optimal state of health, and repair itself after injury or disease.
The role of the Chiropractor is to assist each individual's natural "curative process" in maintaining, improving and enhancing their musculoskeletal health. Through the removal of interferences to nervous system function, correction of the body's joint mechanics, and assisting soft tissue healing Chiropractors are able to promote health. But it doesn't stop there; rehabilitation exercises, nutritional advice, workplace ergonomics, and lifestyle counselling make up a large part of the job. The idea is that "Health comes from within!"
People don't need to be suffering from a significant injury to benefit from this form of care, anyone who wishes to improve their musculoskeletal health can benefit from Chiropractic care, and our techniques are safe and gentle enough to use on everyone from babies to senior citizens!
Meet the Team

Dr. Jim McGee BPE, DC
Dr. McGee (Jim) has a four year University background in Physical Education and Human Movement . He then went on to study four additional years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College located in Toronto, Canada, where he earned the title of Doctor of Chiropractic. He is a qualified Chiropractor in the UK and Canada, is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, and is registered with the GCC. Jim McGee is not a general medical practitioner.

Adam Cooley BSc, MSc (Chiro)
Adam’s journey into chiropractic began after a sports injury left him struggling to return to the
activities he loved. Experiencing first-hand how effective the right care could be was a turning point, and it sparked a desire to help others move better, recover faster, and feel more confident in their bodies.
He studied for five years at the Ango-European College of Chiropractic and holds both a Bachelors of Human Science and Masters of Chiropractic Degree.
In practice, Adam takes a calm, practical, and individualised approach to care. He works with people of all ages and backgrounds, whether they are dealing with persistent aches, recovering from injury, or simply want to move more freely and comfortably in everyday life. His focus is always on helping patients get back to doing the things that matter most to them—without fear, restriction, or ongoing pain.
Outside the clinic, Adam stays active through strength training, bouldering, and running. He is also a big fan of live music and enjoys hunting down new food spots, whenever he gets the chance.
Adam is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, Royal College of Chiropractors and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

General Information
Chiropractic is a scientifically valid and extremely safe method of primary health care. Chiropractors, like your General Practitioner, are trained to a high standard of proficiency; and are fully qualified to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal ailments. We work closely with other health care professionals and will exchange information when required, in the best interests of the patient. This will not be done without prior consent.First VisitDuring your initial visit you will be given some information about your present condition. It is important to us that you ask questions about any of the information that is given, or if you have any general health enquiries. Again, health care here is a collaborative process; you can help by keeping informed and sharing information!Follow up treatmentSubsequent treatments will be scheduled according to average tissue healing rates, and how your body is responding to the treatment programme. It is very helpful that you adhere to any type of "homework" that you will be given. Icing instructions, specific stretches/exercise routines, nutritional supplements, and ergonomic changes all will be fully explained at the time. We will not schedule treatments if we feel the treatment will be of no benefit at that particular time.
